GETTING STARTED
Once we have agreed on size, medium and completion date, I will then need you to send me a photo to use as a reference. Make sure the picture is a decent size and detailed (remember I can only draw what I see so if the detail is low, the detail in the drawing will be low).  I require a 50% down payment before I will start any work. When that is received, and your image I then move into the studio to create your portrait. When the work is done I will send you one last e-mail with the finished product. If you are satisfied with the work I will make preparations to send the drawing. At this point the remaining 50% will be paid. Usually, most drawings take me about a week to complete (depends on size and medium), and paintings about three weeks. Please keep in mind that I do recieve other orders also so if you would like the work by a certain date, give me ample time to create. I will periodically post in-progress photographs of your painting on my blog (unless you are shy about that kind of thing).  I will also email these photos to you if you like to see an in-progress photo of your portrait. Thank you for checking out my site and considering a commission! I look forward to hearing from you.

YOUR COMPLETE SATISFACTION
Of course, the portrait you have commissioned is never finished until you are completely satisfied that I have not only captured an excellent likeness of you but also the impression and spirit you wish to convey.

Please know that I am committed to meeting individual specifications and will adapt to meet your specific needs. I will enjoy every aspect of the process, and I am confident that you will, too.
